PhD Seminar

In the 2020-2021 winter term, I taught the PhD Seminar entitled Advanced Topics in Epidemiologic History, Theory and Biases (EPIT880). This was subsequently approved by Drexel's Dornsife School of Public Health Curriculum and Assessment Committee as EPI805. I will be teaching this course again in the winter term of 2022-2023. The key idea behind this course is to help PhD students in epidemiology (and other disciplines) contextualize their own research as part of a long history of scholarship, both in epidemiology and public health, and, more broadly, in the sciences and humanities.

This is a discussion-based seminar. The syllabus for this course is available here. Please note this is the 2020-2021 version. You are welcome to copy parts of it, be inspired by it, teach your own version of this, do as you wish!
